المستخلص

The research's issue is represented in the economic effects of climate changes on the production of some strategic crops in Egypt (wheat-rice-maize) and the average per capita share during the period (1966-2020), as Egypt suffers from food gap in these crops, which threatens food security and increases trade balance deficit
The results of the research are represented in measuring, analyzing data, wheat production was adversely affected by an increase in the minimum temperature by 1% over its average by 0.13%, equivalent to 635 thousand tons, at a value of 127 million dollars, also, the maize production was positively affected by an increase in both minimum temperature and rainfall rates by 1% over their average rates, by 3.1 and 5.01%, equivalent to 15519 and 25080 thousand tons, with a value of 6207 and 10032 million dollars. while climate changes did not affect rice production, they affected the area of wheat, rice and maize, each 1% increase led to an increase in production by 1.1, 1.01, 1.5 %, equivalent to 5371, 4008, and 7509 thousand tons, at a value of 1074, 1302, 3004 million dollars.
It was proven that the 1% increase in production faded against 1% increase in population with rice and maize, equivalent to 4, 5.1 million tons, at a value of 1285, 2054 million dollars.
Accordingly, it is recommended to adopt strategies and policies that support climate-smart agriculture to increase agricultural productivity. And incomes sustainably; adapt and build resilience to climate change; reduce and/or eliminate greenhouse gas emissions where possible
