المستخلص

The export price of any commodity is considered an essential factor in determining the price elasticity of demand for the most important importing countries to determine whether the commodity is necessary or a luxury for those markets. In general, the research aimed at identifying the most important importing markets for Egyptian frozen strawberries, and identifying the determinants of Egyptian exports based on data for the time period (2007-2022), in addition to identifying the different elasticity of demand, their degree, and the extent of their elasticity or not, in order to include them in development policies of frozen strawberries exports. The value of frozen Egyptian strawberries exports reached a minimum of $6.3 million in 2007, and a maximum of $277.1 million in 2022, with an average amounted to about $78.1 million during the study period (2007-2022). It is noted that Germany, the Russian Federation, China and the Netherlands represent the quantity and value of Egyptian exports of frozen strawberries at about 43,676.8 tons, or 87,734.6 thousand dollars, representing about 46.80% and 46.79% of the world average for each of them, respectively, during the period (2018-2022).
